5 Decorating Ideas For Your Wedding

Whether or not you decide to decorate your own wedding or not, the honest truth is that every bride needs good ideas to implement for the day of her wedding. Nobody wants the reception site to look plain or bare; however, doing a whole lot can cost a lot of money, which most of us don’t have. Moreover, there is good news! There are several things you can do that are not only inexpensive, but also give you a big bang for your buck in terms of look. The following are the top 5 wedding decor ideas to help you on the big day!

Decorating Idea #1 - Use Wedding Bouquets for Table Decorations One excellent decorating idea is to use wedding bouquets for table decorations. This is a way that you can make your bridal party table look beautiful without spending even more money. All your bridesmaids are going to have lovely bouquets of flowers that they carried during the ceremony, so you might as well use them. After all, they can’t hold them while eating and dancing anyway. Have them place the bouquets in arrangements on the table and you’ll have easy and reasonably priced wedding decorations for the reception.

Number 2 - Use Bowls Of Beautiful Fruit as Decoration Fruit comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and vibrant colors; they are also relatively cheap. By putting several brightly colored pieces of fruit in bowls at the center of the tables, you not only have beautiful centerpieces, but something healthy for the guests to munch on as well before your meal is served. Another excellent idea is to cut citrus fruits of differetn kinds, like limes, lemons, and oranges, and stack them in tall vases to use as centerpieces

Number 3 - Christmas in July Nobody said that Christmas lights were only to be used at Christmas time! You can use them for parties too, but most importantly weddings. String some christmas lights in greenery if you’re outdoors, along the drapes, if you’re in a ballroom, from the ceiling if you can, or elsewhere you see fit. The lights are relatively inexpensive and you probably already have some in your attic. If not, ask to borrow a neighbor’s or a relative’s.

Decorating Idea #4 - Place Framed Photos of the Couple on Every Table Placing framed photos of the couples on every table at the reception is a great way that you can decorate for your reception without a lot or work or money involved. You can go with the same photo on every table or you can get creative and go with different photos of the bride and groom on each table for some variety. Kodak Gallery will both print and frame your photos for you, if you don’t have the time to do it yourself.

Decorating Idea #5 - Add Some Candlelight Adding some candle light is a beautiful way that you can decorate for your wedding reception. One easy way to add some “mood” to the room is to put beautiful tea lights on small mirrors on the tables. They’ll reflect the light and look incredible. Floating candles in glass bowls are also a great way to use candle light for decorations.
